Tamiya 417FF First test

Everything worked without any problems. The handling is good and the XV-01 gearbox is very silent. It seems the car will have less front tyre wear than the Huge FF-11 but more testing is needed to get a better understanding of it. It has a lot of steering and is very responsive because of the TRF417 steering system. I think the car worked better than expected and feels quite a lot different compared to a Huge FF-11.

Tamiya TRF 417FF FWD Design

Finished the design for the TRF 417FF FWD project.  It is a 1:10 FWD Front motor TC test chassis built on the Tamiya TRF 417 . Main feature is that the motor is moved back for better weight distribution and using a complete 417  steering system.  The only custom made parts are the main chassis and top deck that are sent for cut out in carbon fibre. All the other parts are from the Tamiya TRF 417 V5 and XV01TC Pro.
